Summit Montessori - Opening Convocation

These shots are from our opening convocation for the school. It was a special reception to honor our new Head of School. It was a beautiful evening and it was especially nice for me to have the chance to meet so many parents.

Summit Montessori - Head of School

I'm lucky enough to be the music teacher at an excellent Montessori school in Framingham - Summit Montessori. I teach music classes there one day a week, and in addition to my music teaching responsibilities I have been working with the Head of Advancement to take pictures for advertising and other events as they come up.

A few weeks ago, she asked me to take a picture of our new, AMAZING Head of School with some of the students. The light was great on the front steps of the school (a beautiful restored mansion), so I collected some students and started shooting.

We had to take some "silly face" pictures!

Summit Montessori - Ad Photo Shoot

Last month, I had the chance to take pictures of two families at the school where I teach. The school needed shots for an ad they were taking out in a local Boston magazine.

I have to admit - since this was my first "official" photo shoot, I was a little nervous. But everything went really well and I love how the shots turned out. Here are some favorites...

And here is how the ad turned out:
